| Actor/director starred in many movies, including Good-Bye Columbus, Catch-22, Portnoy's Complaint, The Sunshine Boys, and Love at First Bite, and directed a number of others (including My Favorite Year, The Money Pit, and Milk Money).
The Northwestern University alum (1960) was born in New York City on May 22, 1938. In addition to film roles, he has also performed and directed on Broadway.
Benjamin is married to fellow Actress and NU alum (they met at school) Paula Prentiss.
