Helen Hunt

Classically trained at the Goodman Theatre, Helen Hunt as come a long way baby. Travel down memory lane with me and recall her fabulous performance in Girls Just Wanna Have Fun (1985) as Sarah Jessica Parker's rebellious gal-pal (and also Kevin Bacon's link through Footloose. Yeah, she was cool becuase she could turn her school uniform inside out and great a nightclub killer punk outfit. . . but who would have known that ten years later she'd be a two time Emmy winner for her long standing role as "Jamie" opposite comedian Paul Raiser on NBC's TV Sitcom Mad About You (both actors will reportedly receive an obscene $1 million per episode). Furthermore, one could never guess that Hunt's cross-over appearance in Twister (1996) wouldn't blemish her career so as to keep James Brooks from casting her alongside Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets, for which Hunt won her first Best Actress Oscar.
