| Davis' film directing credits include Under Siege and Above the Line with Kung-Fu White Boy, Steven Seagal. This Chicago-born director has helped the Chicago film economy by shooting his recent Hollywood flicks in our Midwestern metropolis. Such films include The Fugitive (1993) which received both a Best Picture and Best Director Oscar Nomination and Chain Reaction (1996) starring Keanu Reeves & Morgan Freeman. More recently, he's appeared in A Perfect Murder starring Michael Douglas and Gweneth Paltrow (the Dial M for Murder remake of Hitchcock's noir classic). David reportedly want to shoot the thriller in Chicago, but instead had to cater to Douglas's desire to remain in New York City for the duration of production.
