Show Details

E.M. Forster's famous book follows the story of a good-hearted though rather naive young English woman who wrecks havoc when she associates with a Muslim doctor. Colonial taboos were fierce during the Raj period in India, but the young woman didn't know any better. The Muslim doctor struggles with these oppressive colonial rules, and yearns for the "real India." But the real passion begins when the young woman and the doctor go on a tour of the Marabar Caves. Elizabeth Carlin-Metz directs.
