A highly regarded course, Fox Bend has played host to several tournaments and qualifiers, including the State Amateur qualifying, Illinois Open Championship, and PGA qualifying for the Western Open for starters. The course is a very challenging and scenic tour of streams, ponds, willow trees, and elevation changes. Each hole sets up quite differently from the one before it: and with mature trees throughout, shot-making is a needed skill to bring a score to the boasting session. Strategically placed sand (Par 4, 16th), tough to read par 3's (hole #6), and plenty of water carries give the advantage to anyone who has played the course several times. The well-stocked pro shop and fine restaurant make for a great day of golf in the far southwest suburbs.
