This North Shore diner offers the usual favorites. Fluffy three-egg omelets come cheap, starting with the basics (Denver, for $5.75) and running to the less obvious: Versions include jelly, salami, olive and cream cheese. Breakfast is served all day, should you get a hash-brown hankering at 5 p.m.
But if it's dinner you want, you'll get your fill. All entrees include cup of hot soup and salad, potatoes, fresh vegetable, French bread and coffee or tea. You'll find meatloaf, skirt steak and lamb chops. Club sandwiches and the like are available, as well as an 11-ounce bacon cheeseburger, should your arteries be of no concern. Malts, shakes and pies a la mode keep the menu diner-authentic.
