The hot dogs here are a crash-course in American geography for those of us who didn't pay attention in social studies. For the everyday dog, The Chicago includes everything you'd expect and nothing more. Or dress it up with an order of the Atlanta, which comes with coleslaw, chili, mustard, ketchup and onions. How about a trip to Buffalo, without the snow? Topped with wing sauce, bleu cheese and celery salt, the Buffalo dog tastes a lot like the city's namesake wings. While some of the recipes aren't entirely credible (who's ever heard of a Baltimore-style dog?), it's a hoot to see the many ways America's cities are represented in hot dog form. And with a jumbo dog costing less than $3, it's hard to turn down a culinary tour of the States.
