| Team Satan was formed by guitarist Chris Auman and drummer Mike Wing during the unbearable heat wave of 1995 that left hundreds dead in Chicago. After adding Virginia transplants Todd Uzel on guitar and Lori Kolb on bass, Team Satan brought their brand of "lo-fi devil rock" to the seedier underground rock clubs of the city. Combining hard rock and punk with a straight-faced, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor the Team released a 7 inch in 1997 on the local OFF-White label and recorded a full-length record in 1998 with new guitarist and fellow Virginian, John Peters. The tentatively titled A Little More Down tapes have yet to turn up and the album remains unreleased. The band further fizzled with the sudden, middle-of-the-night departure of Peters who fled back to Virginia eventually turning up in the Southern-fried stoner band, Alabama Thunder Pussy. Uzel rejoined briefly in 1999 but the band for all intents and purposes was as done as Lounge Ax where they played their final set. Uzel went on to form the hard rock band, Decibators; Wing and Kolb got married and moved their Western/surf flavored instrumental band, Booker Noe, to Fort Collins, Colorado and Auman formed Reagan National Crash Diet.
