| These high schoolers, who have played a lot of clubs (Empty Bottle, etc.) that wouldn't normally let them in, are a tight, if dissonant, rock band. Their debut disc, Are You Choking?, peaked at #97 on CMJ's top 200. Seven or eight songs more melodic than the previous release are already written for a new disc. The lineup includes guitarist James Hughes (son of movie mogul John Hughes who, btw, attended a recent show at Fireside Bowl), guitarist/vocalist Peter Olszewski, bassist Mike Costello and drummer Jerry Dapier. Oh, clever name.
