 This local band, which began in 1995, puts an odd spin on Chili Peppers-style funk with unusual songs about mad truck drivers, etc. Say they: "If you squeezed the pure adrenaline of Bad Brains and the refined fluidity of Phish into a blender, we would be the delicious hi-fiber breakfast shake that poured out." Their debut CD is entitled Goocher. Members include Steve Ligeza (guitar, vocals), Jack O'Brien (vocals), John Kretsos (bass, vocals), John Jaros (percussion) and Pat Keiner (guitars, vocals).
