Rikki Lee Travolta

Cross-over recording artist Rikki Lee Travolta cut his teeth in the music biz as an assistant producer for Chicago blues label Razor Records for such artists as Gloria Hardiman and Kenny Saydak. Moving into the spotlight, Travolta's first solo album, "Broadway Live" (1999) capitalized on his notable theatrical guest starring appearances with songs from "West Side Story", "Rent", "Les Miserables", "Evita", and "Guys and Dolls." Produced and engineered by Dennis Dickie, it became the highest grossing album in the history of independent label, Brahma Bull Audio.

In recognition of his accomplishments as a vocalist, Travolta was inducted into the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in 2000. His 2002 sophomore album "Hero's Lullaby" recorded at Northbrook, IL's Backstage Audio by engineer David Busscher ventured into mainstream rockabilly and earned six nods on the Grammy Awards nomination ballot including Song of the Year and Best Male Rock Vocal for the 9/11 memorial title track. In live performance, he has shared the stage with such legends as blues great Lonnie Brooks, Broadway diva Liza Minnelli, rocker Jon Bon Jovi, and Cheers star Woody Harrelson.
