Showy young Chicago blues guitarist fuses B.B. King-style West Side blues with the Hendrixian guitar hero. So, it's a little derivitive, but he makes up for it with the blistering solo work... Played on the 1996 Chicago Blues Festival's "Front Porch Stage." PP has played as part of Full Throttle (disbanded in September '97), and now frequently appears as the N3PF (Notorious 3 Peace Funk) -- a group that improvs in the 21st century jazz/rock/ska/funk/blues mold. The guitarist has two CDs, his debut Loaded, and a June 1998 eponymous release.
