Jay Mathes has been performing in and around Chicago for the last two years, gaining fans, and collaborating with some of Chicago's biggest venues, including: Hard Rock Cafe, Double Door, and Elbo Room, to name a few.
His newest album, "Love Said," was released in February of 2006 and features songs of personal experience and comtemplation. Jay's catchy melodies and head-bobbing guitar riffs keep you listening over and over again.
Home-grown in the Chicago area, Jay loves the city, loves writing and recording here, and loves performing for it's people and venues - especially with his backing band.
