| Quirky pop band assembled by singer/songwriter/guitarist Todd Leiter-Weintraub (formerly of Sub Rosa). The remainder of the lineup includes Tim Ferguson (ex-Me Decade and Sub Rosa), Matt Walters (ex-Cost of Recess and Olde Style), and David Kling (ex-Sub Rosa).
Hop on Pop's debut album, As Drawn By Ethan, Age 2 was recorded over 6 months by Mark Schwarz at the Uberstudio in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. It was released on Spade Kitty Record in April, 2004 to favorable reviews. In August 2007, Leiter-Weintraub disbanded the original lineup to pursue a more fluid format, one that allows him to explore an even broader range of styles for the next Hop On Pop album.
