Chicago Symphony Orchestra violist (1987-) grew up in west suburban Addison. After attending DePaul University (where she studied with former CSO principal viola Milton Preves), she was the principal viola of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and then the assistant principal viola of the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra.
