| Named after the movie theater at Clark & Chestnut, this low-key, mostly local supergroup includes drummer/vocalist Rian Murphy (Plush, Royal Trux, late-80s group Mantis), vocalist Dave Marr (Mantis), Paul Caporino (MOTO) and guitarist Rick Rizzo (Eleventh Dream Day). Each title on their a 5-song debut on Drag City Records apparently comes from a 1991 photo of the cinema's marquee. Reader critic Monica Kendrick describes the music as "determinedly ragged, lurching through evocative sketches of ballads and rockers that are resolutely uncinematic..."
