| Saxman runs WXRT's (93.1 FM) cool weekly Jazz Transfusion, which airs Sunday nights in addition to daytime Jazz (10am-2pm) at WDCB 90.0FM from College of DuPage. He leads an "Alternative Big Band," of which the Chicago Tribune's Howard Reich says "the deeply burnished ensemble colors that the band produced on 'Goodbye Forever,' the shimmering orchestral colors they yielded in an unusual arrangmenet of John Coltrane's 'Naima' distinguished this group from many of its peers." He regularly plays with the Green Mill Quartet every Friday night.
