| 1900 - 1975 The author of "Hatsy Catsy, the Cat Who Loved Hats," Grace Neff attended the University of Illinois and worked as a lecturer and freelance writer. She married writer and broadcaster Gilbert James Brett at age 42. She was an amateur photographer and decorator. Works:
