Franklin P. Adams

1881-1960

Franklin P. Adams was born in Chicago in 1881, and while he later moved on to other cities, it was here that he began his career as a writer. He was a journalist at the Chicago Journal from 1903 to 1904, and collaborated with O. Henry on a musical comedy produced in 1909. He wrote a column called "Conning Tower" and frequently appeared on the radio program "Information Please."
