Why to go: The party (this year's them: "We Are One" features performances from some of Chicago's most diverse creatives. The lineup includes Brickheadz, Joe Bryl, Dark Wave Disco, DJ Demchuk, Dirty MF and the Smoking Sexsions, Hey Champ DJs, Hollywood Holt, comedians from Jokes and Notes, DJ Madrid, Ron Trent and many more.

Additional Info: Kids Can Dance, sponsored by Shorty's Boutique, hosts a kids dance party, mural installation, and a paper art-making workshop from noon-3 p.m. outdoors. The after party (featuring Fertile Ground) will be hosted at the Double Door from 10 p.m.-3 a.m. ($20 to enter).
