Cost: $20 per day or weekend passes for $35 ($100 for VIP tickets)

What to expect: Well, music. A solid line-up of national rock and jam-based acts.

Why to go: The North Mississippi Allstars (Saturday, 6 p.m.) always put on a great show.

Additional info: The festival is located on the campus of Devry University. Parking is available at Devry and in the Lane Tech parking lot on Western Ave. just north of Roscoe for a small fee. The VIP package includes a 2-day pass, a t-shirt, a VIP viewing area, tent and beer line, free parking and a free pass into the official kick-off party featuring Cornmeal (must be 21+). In addition to the regular lineup, there will be two late-night shows: Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk (Saturday) and Brothers Past (Sunday).
