Three Cent Stomp
 
Chicago swing band. Members include Nick Devery (vocals). Trumpeter Jason Aspinwall has accompanied Clark Terry, Arturo Sandoval, Branford Marsalis, Nancy Wilson, and Slide Hampton. Bassist Eddie von Schaller studied with Kelly Sill and CSO bassist John Floeter. Saxophonist Jim Barbick has performed with Eddie Daniels, Cecil Bridgewater, Slide Hampton, and Barrett Deems, The Bill O'Connell Big Band, the Big Band of Chicago, and many others. Drummer (Berklee grad) Ted Sirota has performed with Josh Redman, Antonion Hart, Roy Hargrove among others. Saxophonist Craig Denny has performed with Chuck Mangione, Marvin Hamlisch, Jim Nabors, Toni Tenille, John Pizzarelli, and Jack Jones, as well as being a member in the Disney All-American College Orchestra and His Way Orchestra. A recent graduate of DePaul University, he now teaches there.

Pianist Pete Benson, who is studying with Willie Pickens, has performed with Fareed Hque, Art Davis and Paul McKee, and is studying at Northern Illinois. Guitarist Dave Sampson has gigged with Lin Halliday, Von Freeman, and Charles Earland (you can hear him on 1995's Ready and Able). Saxophonist Doug Angelaccio has studied with Mark Colby, Paul McKee, and Bob Lark.
