Admission is free, but if visitors are feeling particularly generous, the gallery gladly accepts donations. The Mary & Leigh Block Museum of Art features a permanent collection of modern sculptures in the sculpture garden, with several major exhibitions and ten smaller ones filling the museum galleries. The main gallery features shiny blond wood floors and stark white walls, an expected but perfect backdrop for its variety of artworks. The Block Cinema features the “Reeltime Film Series,” an independent film and video forum that shows independent documentary, feature, short films and video projects. Call ahead for show times. Parking is $6.50 before 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday (free after 4 p.m. and on weekends). There is free street parking just off the campus.
